We make men without chests and expect of them virtue... We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst.

Christmas Colors

Red--for the blood Jesus spilled when He died to free and cleanse us from sin and death
............... "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin."

White--for the change in those of us who have accepted the salvation of our God and obey His commandments
............... "Take your evil deeds out of my sight! Stop doing wrong, learn to do right! ... 'Come now, let us reason together,' says the Lord. 'Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool.'"

Green--the color of growth and life
............... "Whoever believes in the Son [Jesus] has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."
............... [Jesus speaking] "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life."

"Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!"

Stained-glass people....

"People are like stained glass windows--they sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light within."
