We make men without chests and expect of them virtue... We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst.

Christmas

Hello! I want to offer a word of explanation about the conspicuous absence of Christmas-related pictures up to this point, even though Christmas is only two days away. My camera has been giving me issues since Thanksgiving weekend, and I haven't been able to take any pictures or get any pictures off the memory card. One part of the problem was resolved this morning, so I'm hoping to get everything working again today or tomorrow. Then there will probably be some Christmas pictures until New Year! :)

In the mean time, I wish you all a very merry Christmas, and I encourage you to remember why we even have Christmas in the first place. Christmas is a celebration of Jesus' birth-- an event that split history in two forever. His birth is significant because through it, God lived on Earth as a human. Because of Jesus' life and torturous death by Roman execution when he was an adult, we can live free from worry, depression, hate, fear, and being trapped by our mistakes. But Jesus didn't stay dead; after three days in a tomb, God's power entered his body again, and with it, life. Jesus is alive today-- he conquered death forever. To live fully and in freedom, all you have to do is believe that his sacrifice is real and is for you, and make Jesus the "Lord," or master, of your life. Please email me (see sidebar) if you have questions.

Merry Christmas; may God give you peace!
~Stephanie
