No; it didn't taste like briny ocean water... I actually didn't notice much of a taste because the water was so icky and hot--and I was hot so I didn't mind too much anyway. :)
But it's in the middle of a salt-water marsh near either the Gulf of Mexico or the ocean (don't remember which part of FL it's in). I imagine the source is pretty salty and they can only filter so much out!
